Nike’s Air Max2 Light is Next to Join the Epic 90s-Inspired "Windbreaker" Pack

Just last month we revealed a two-piece pack of Air Max 1s , said to be inspired by Nike‘s boisterous windbreakers of the late 80s and early 90s — garments that almost exclusively sported vibrant colors. Then we followed it up by revealing a Warriors-themed Air Max2 Light , then two more entered the fold, in the form of Air Max 95s . Now, the "Windbreaker/ pack's Air Max2 Light will be joined by a dark-colored counterpart, with this back-based pair hitting Nike's servers this morning.
More in-line with the first-to-surface Air Max 1 pair, this edition of the Air Max2 Light sports a vibrant 90s mix of teal, golden yellow and purple, paired with black overlays and contrast stitching. Materials range from suede and leather on the overlays, while high-sheen Nylons — reminiscent of the pack's Windbreaker inspiration — arrives on the toecap and mid panel underlays and tongues. Like all the other pairs from the pack, "Sportswear/ tags arrive, this time on the lateral tongue, and the pair comes complete with vintage-inspired midsole prints that mimic outerwear labels found on garments of the period.
